Jamshedpur, Sep 25: Amid loud and excited chatter, Spandan festivity kicked off at the Air Base Colony in Kadma centre on Friday, October 24.
Organised by Brahmolokdham, the two day annual religious meet saw a number of events on the first day of the event.
The festivity began at in the morning with Samuhik Jap followed by the flag hoisting ceremony. A blood donation camp was also organized during the event were a large number of people participated.
Devotees on the occasion were also provided with Guru Prasad. The day had lot to offer as Kalash painting, Mehandi and drawing competition were also organized while students from city schools participated in the essay writing competition.
The winners of various competitions will be felicitated on the last day of the celebration on Saturday, Oct 25. Later in the evening a competition of talent hunt was also held at the venue making the participants enjoy every bit of the fun.
Deep Prajwalan, Guru Vandana, Arti and Parnam Mantra Path were also held at Brahmolokdham while the day ended with Prasad distributed among devotees. At the event Manvendra Bhattacharya of Brahmolokdham among several others were present.
On day two of the celebrations on Saturday, Oct 25, Prabhat Pheri will be taken out while scholarships will be distributed among school students, fancy dress competition and cultural program will end the celebrations.
