South Eastern Railway begins Swachhta Pakhwada, GM administers Cleanliness Pledge

Kolkata, September 18: South Eastern Railway (SER) launched its Swachhta Pakhwada campaign, which will be conducted between September 17 and October 2, 2024, in conjunction with Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary. General Manager Anil Kumar Mishra administered the Swachhta Pledge to officers and staff at the SER Headquarters in Garden Reach. Employees vowed to maintain cleanliness at their workplace and contribute to keeping India clean.

Senior officers, including Soumitra Majumdar, Additional General Manager, participated in a tree plantation program near the Scouts & Guides Den. The Swachhta Pakhwada initiative is also being observed across SER’s four divisions, with staff and officers engaging in cleanliness drives.
