Jamshedpur: South Chotanagpur Division of the State is leading in implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana. As per the information released by Health and Family Welfare Department, in terms of district Ranchi leads with 78 number of patients being benefitted.
The amount claimed is Rs 672200 while Rs 659200 has been approved. The centre sponsored Ayushman Bharat scheme has total number 433 hospital under its purview while 227 are Government hospitals 206 are private.
Similarly the scheme is successfully being implemented by all the divisions of the state North Chotanagpur, Kolhan, Santhal Pargana and Palamu. The state government has chosen hybrid-model of the scheme in which health cover of Rs 1 lakh is disbursed through the government approved insurance company.
Health claim of above Rs 1 lakh and up to Rs 5 lakh is disbursed through trust mode by the implementation support agency-Jharkhand State Aarogya Society (JSAS).
