Ranchi, Oct 16: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the govt. is serious about providing the consumers on spot electricity bill.
Billing process management system will be outsourced in order to provide online electricity bill to the consumers. As soon as the outsource company takes the reading, the bill will be provided & the details of the provided bill will be transferred into the centralized database.
An online portal http://www.jbvnl.co.in has been launched to ensure zero trouble to the consumers in submitting the bill. The CM said it while reviewing the electricity department in his residential chamber. Principal Secretary, Energy S.K.G. Rahate informed the CM that the system will be user friendly.
Das directed to establish Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA ) Operation System immediately & connect it with the centralized control room.
The centralize control room can check breakdowns on time & electricity can be supplied from other feeders. SCADA Operation System will be started in Ranchi, Jamshedpur & Dhanbad in the first phase.
The CM directed to implement Tilka Majhi Krishi Pump Yojana on priority basis. MD, JBVNL Rahul Purvar informed that the scheme will be started as soon as they get the list of farmers from the MLAs.
Secretary to the CM Sunil Kr. Burnwal along with other officers of Energy Department & JBVNL was present in the meeting.
