Sona Devi University hosts special lecture series

Jamshedpur: Sona Devi University in Ghatshila, today organized a “Lecture Series by eminent personalities,” featuring a special lecture by Prof. (Dr.) Chandreshwar Khan, a renowned management guru and former senior assistant general manager at Telco, Jamshedpur. The event was attended by university dignitaries, including Chancellor  Prabhakar Singh, Vice Chancellor Prof. J. P. Mishra, Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Gulab Singh ‘Azad,’ Controller of Examinations  Mithilesh Singh, along with principals, professors, assistant teachers from various departments, and a large number of students.

The theme of Prof. Khan’s lecture was “Importance and Utility of Managerial Processes for Students and Faculty Members of Educational Institutions.” Prof. Dr. Nit Nayana of the Biotechnology Department introduced Prof. Khan and highlighted his significant contributions to management science.

In his insightful and motivational speech, Prof. Khan emphasized the definition, importance, and relevance of management science for students at Sona Devi University. He spoke eloquently about the need for setting clear goals in life, adopting the right processes, and making resources dynamic. He stressed that to achieve success, students must acquire knowledge, gain experience, work courageously, manage time effectively, and show gratitude to their seniors. “Discipline and self-control are essential qualities,” he added, encouraging students to excel in both their mother tongue and the English language.

Prof. Khan also underscored the importance of having the right attitude, which he believes is a critical determinant of the heights one can achieve in life. He urged students to keep moving forward with hard work and a positive mindset.

The lecture was met with great enthusiasm by both students and faculty members. Prof. Dr. Gulab Singh ‘Azad,’ the Registrar of the University, praised Prof. Khan’s motivational speech, highlighting its potential to inspire students to become ideal citizens by applying managerial knowledge and experience at every stage of life.
