Somanko Tiru designs train boards for Tatanagar-Buxar Express, hands it to Senior Sectional Engineer

Tatanagar-Ara Express to commence run upto Buxar from today

Jamshedpur, March 7: In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, the Tatanagar-Ara Express (18183/18184) is set to be extended up to Buxar. The decision, effective from March 8, 2024, will streamline the travel experience for commuters.

From March 8, the 18183 Tatanagar-Ara Express will operate its journey up to Buxar, while the 18184 Ara-Tatanagar Express, commencing from March 9, 2024, will originate from Buxar.

During its route between Ara and Buxar, the train will make stops at Bihia, Raghunathpur, and Dumraon, enhancing accessibility for passengers.

Notably, new train boards specifically designed for the extended route, labelled as 18183/4 Tatanagar – Buxar Express, were officially handed over to the SSE/C&W/TATA Coaching Depot on Monday. Somanko Tiru and Shashank Shekhar Swain handed over the boards. The aesthetically crafted boards were the result of collaborative efforts, designed by Somanko Tiru and assisted by Tarun Choubey of Buxar.

The extension of the train service to Buxar is poised to commence from tomorrow, promising improved connectivity and a more convenient travel experience for passengers along this route.
