Ranchi, December 18: Solution to all problems of the masses will be available at the panchayat and one would not have to travel to block headquarters, stressed chief minister Hemant Soren while addressing Apki Yojana, Apki Sarkar- Apke Dwar program in Ichak, Hazaribagh on Monday.
“It has been 23 years since Jharkhand became a separate state. Public interest has been continuously ignored in the last two decades. District and block offices were not functioning properly. But, our government changed this practice. The responsibilities of the officers were fixed,”said Soren
“We have given clear instructions to approach the villages and Panchayats and listen to the problems of the people with full sensitivity and find solutions to them. Our government’s thinking is that one should get benefits of all the government schemes and solutions to problems, not from the block office but from the Panchayat office,” added Soren.
The Chief Minister said that “Aapki Yojana – Aapki Sarkar – Aapke Dwar” is such a mega campaign in which the problems of the common people are being solved by organizing camps in villages and panchayats.
“A total of about 80 lakh applications were received in the first phase in the year 2021 and the second phase in the year 2022. Through these applications we got information about all the problems of the general public. After this, the priority of these problems was decided and work was done to implement them on the ground by making a plan towards their solution,” informed the chief minister.
The Chief Minister said that every person should get information about the welfare schemes of the government. To ensure that no one remains untouched by the schemes due to lack of information, booklets related to government welfare schemes will be distributed among school children. These children will tell their parents about the schemes through this booklet so that they can take advantage of the schemes they need.
“Employment is being provided to the youth on a large scale in government and private sector. The government is completing 4 years on 29th December. On this occasion, 8 to 9 thousand youth will get appointment letters,” added Soren.
The Chief Minister said that the dependence on DVC for power supply in some districts including Hazaribagh will be ended very soon.
