Jamshedpur, April 26: Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) on Friday hosted inauguration ceremony for its latest additions: the Green Energy Solar Panel, Nursery Playstation, and Indoor Games Courtyard.
Ritu Raj Sinha, MD of Tata Steel UISL, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the new facilities.
Joining him were K.P.G. Nair, Chairman of KSMS, Â Nandini Shukla, Principal, and members of the Board of Trustees. Following the inauguration, attendees had the opportunity to explore the new facilities within the school premises.
The newly installed Solar Power Generating system boasts 185 Solar Panels, accompanied by 50 kVA x 2 on-grid inverters, seamlessly integrated with the net metering system, now fully operational.
Meanwhile, the Nursery Playstation has various playing equipments for the tiny tots to keep them engaged and develop their skills.
Moreover, the Indoor Courtyard now features PVC mats, facilitating games like badminton, table tennis, chess, and carrom board, enhancing recreational opportunities for students.
The audience was treated to a captivating presentation showcasing the school’s journey thus far, followed by delightful dance performances and songs. In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of sustainability and Green School Education, underlining their crucial role in shaping a better tomorrow.
KSMS’s initiative in embracing renewable energy and enhancing recreational amenities underscores its commitment to providing a holistic educational experience for its students.
