Smart Class inaugurated at Jamshedpur High School

Jamshedpur: Smart Class at Jamshedpur High School was today formally inaugurated by the Executive Officer of State Development Council, Jharkhand, Anil Swarup. In his address, Swarup observed that although government projects are launched with great fanfare, most of them turn out to be flop shows due to no follow-up actions.

�Starting smart classes in Jamshedpur High School certainly augers well but it has to be ensured that they are nurtured properly so as to serve the purpose of their being instituted.�

During his interaction with the students, Anil Swarup opined that they should not be deterred by failures but take lessons from them.

Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar, in his welcome address informed that smart classes had been instituted in 34 schools of the district to ensure the government�s commitment to attain qualitative education. He said, �The introduction of smart classes in schools will enhance the students� desire to learn more and will also aid in their all-round development.�

Teacher of the school�s science department presented the annual report.
The program was inaugurated by the guests who jointly lit the traditional lamp. Among the other dignitaries present on the occasion included the District Education Officer, Nuvoco�s General Manager and Director JH Tarapore School Beli Bodhanwala.
