Jamshedpur, March 25: Six MLAs of East Singhbhum district have announced grants from their individual legislative funds as contribution towards the fight against coronavirus that is threatening mankind across the world.
West Jamshedpur legislator and Jharkhand Health minister Banna Gupta has announced Rs 25 lakh, East Jamshedpur MLA Saryu Roy Rs 25 lakh and the MLAs of Baharagora Samir Mahanty, Ghatshila Ramdas Soren, Potka Sanjiv Sardar too have announced similar amounts from their respective legislative funds. Jugsalai constituency MLA Mangal Kalindi has announced a grant of Rs 30 lakh. The Civil Surgeon of East Singhbhum and the BDO will utilize the fund for medical preventive measures against coronavirus.
