Situation limps back to normal in Jamshedpur, named FIR against 120 persons

A total of 1,120 people have been booked over the clashes, of whom 120 have been named

Jamshedpur, April 10. After the communal unrest in Shastri Nagar of Kadma police station area, the situation limped back to normal on Monday. Internet service remained closed after 1 am on Sunday night. Internet service was started on Monday at 06.30 pm while prohibitory remained in force only in Shastrinagar. 

Prohibitory order under Section 144 was in force only in Shastrinagar area in Jamshedpur.

A total of 1,120 people have been booked over the clashes, of whom 120 have been named.

Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav and SSP Prabhat Ku ar  told that the situation is normal in Shastri Nagar but section 144 will remain in force till further orders. A close watch is being kept on social media.

Special team is monitoring social media. Strict legal action will be taken by identifying those who have forwarded objectionable or sensitive videos/news on Facebook or other social media in the last two days.

Administration also removed  encroachment ]from the road side between Shastrinagar block number 2 and 3. The flag march under the leadership of city SP Vijay Shankar, SDM Dhalbhum Piyush Sinha, ASP City Sumit Kumar Agarwal, the administration is ready to maintain peace and law and order.

A video of law and order problem created by anti-social elements in Shastri Nagar has gone viral. The miscreants seen in the video have been identified and sent to jail. The miscreants tried to create law and order problems by obstructing the administrative work, for which action was taken under various sections.

  1. Can we get the real names of the offender. Communal tension shouldn’t be still there why we aren’t moving post these things or is it propaganda of government but still the police should try best and punish the offenders
