Sitarama Kalyanam celebrated with devotion by Telco Andhra Committee on Ram Navami

Jamshedpur: On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the Telco Andhra Committee organized a special Puja-Archana at the Ganesh Temple, followed by the grand celebration of Sitarama Kalyanam. The event was conducted in traditional South Indian style, with priests chanting Vedic mantras and performing rituals with great devotion.

As part of the festivities, special bhog and prasad were offered to Lord Shri Ram and Sita. A total of 82 couples participated in the ceremony, offering flowers at the feet of Lord Ram and Sita and seeking their divine blessings.

The highlight of the event was the symbolic wedding ceremony of Lord Ram and Sita, celebrated with religious fervor, music, and devotion. Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary K. Ram Mohan Rao explained that in South India, Ram Navami is observed as the divine wedding day of Shri Ram and Sita, believed to have taken place on the Navami of Chaitra month. He prayed for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of all.

Key contributors to the success of the event included Rajashekhar Rao, C.S.R. Murthy, Narayan Rao, Bhaskar Rao, Prasad Rao, Lata, Sangeetha, Padma, and others from the organizing team.
