Jamshedpur: A sit and draw contest was organized on Sunday at Sri Sainath Devsthanam, Ghorabandha, under the aegis of Sai Parivar Vishwa Seva Sansthan. Altogether 191 students from different schools of Telco participated in the event and showcased their creativity on various subjects including spirituality, road safety, Nature and various social issues.
The competition was divided in three categories. The topics were �Sai Baba�, �Protecting Earth�, �Road Safety� and �Beti Bachao�. A majority of children chose the topics �Protecting Earth� and �Beti Bachao�. The names of winners of the contest would be announced on 1st February.
The outfit president Anup Ranjan said such events are organized with the aim to create greater awareness among children on various social and political issues. He said the Beti Bachao campaign should be publicized intensively for best results.
The organizers of today�s programme included Rajeev Kumar, Nutan Kumari, Rashmi Narayan, Rajkishore Sahu, Durga Ghosh, Sushma Mishra, Ranjana Mukherjee, Preeti Srivastava, Rinku Roy Choudhary, Reena Singh, Rajat Mishra and Seema Chakravarty.
