Sisters won�t be able to tie Rakhi to brothers lodged at Jamshedpur’s Ghaghidih Jail

Jamshedpur: The impact of Coronavirus infection is now beginning to fall on Raksha Bandhan, the biggest festival of siblings. The sisters will not be able to meet their brothers in jail during Raksha Bandhan, nor will they be able tie a rakhi to their wrists. The district’s largest jail, Ghaghidih Central Jail, has more than 17 hundred prisoners during this corona period. But after the instructions of the jail administration, the sisters won�t be allowed to tie rakhi. The jail administration has also issued its instructions.

In this regard, Ghaghidih Central Jail Superintendent Satyendra Chaudhary said that on the day of Raksha Bandhan this year, sisters are banned from tying rakhi on the wrist of prisoners due to coronavirus infection. No sister will tie Rakhi to her brother in jail.
