Jamshedpur, October 17: A situation of fight and abuse over property has arisen between brothers and sisters in Lakshmi Niwas, located in front of Old CP Club, Sonari, Jamshedpur.
In this matter, elder sister Saroj Prasad reached the SSP office on Tuesday.
In a dispute over property between siblings, elder sister Saroj has submitted the memorandum, against his two brothers Gautam Prasad Sharma and Purushottam before East Singhbhum SSP.
Saroj has stated that she has been taking care of their father for the last ten years. She used to stay at her father’s house and serve him for . The elder sister lived on the lower floor and the younger sister Sudha Kumari Sharma lived on the upper floor.
Whereas his brothers Gautam and Purushottam did not live with their father nor take care of him.
Her father died on 24 January 2023 in TMH. After which, on September 29, both his brothers reached home with their wives and entered the house by breaking the locks of both their father’s rooms by force.
They have taken possession of his mother’s jewelry worth Rs 20 lakh along with bank documents from his father’s house. When Sudha Kumari protested against this, she was abused and pushed.
Saroj Prasad said that the father has evicted both the sons from the property. A case is also going on in the court regarding partition. It was during this time that this incident took place.
One of the sons is working in Tata Steel and the other son is a supplier. Supplier Purushottam Prasad lives in Sonari Airport Road and Gautam Prasad lives in Bistupur.
Saroj said that she has visited Sonari police station several times but as no action was taken, she reached the SSP office on Tuesday
