Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry to go for e-voting on September 20-22

Jamshedpur, Sept 4: The election of the new working committee of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) is all set to be held through e-voting. The remote e-voting will take place on 20^th September from 11 am till 5 pm on 22^nd September, said SCCI officials.

According to the officials, the 68^th annual general meeting (AGM) of SCCI will be organized on 23^rd September from 11 am onwards. A public notice for the AGM has been issued in this regard. The voters will elect office-bearers, working committee members and Board of Trustees. The e-voting will take place at Chamber Bhavan, Bistupur. The members may authorize proxy voters to cast votes on their behalf by giving application to the SCCI office 48 hours before the AGM.

The elections will be held for the post of president, vice president (industry), vice president (taxation and finance), vice president (public relation and welfare), general secretary, secretary (industry), secretary (trade and commerce), secretary (taxation and finance, secretary (public relation and welfare), treasurer and 30 working committee members.
