Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry polls today, team Bhalotia wins five posts unopposed

Jamshedpur, Sept. 23: The biennial election of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will be held on Tuesday, September 24. The preparations are in place for peaceful voting.  SCCI members can cast their votes through ballot paper at the Chamber Bhawan and also through e-voting.

Total of 1737 members of the chamber are eligible to cast their votes. 

Team Bhalotia is in a strong position winning the post of trustee along with five other posts of office bearers.

President Ashok Bhalotia, secretary Public relations Anil Modi, trustee Nirmal Kabra, secretary trade and commerce Satyanarayan Agarwal alias Munna, secretary tax and finance Rajiv Agarwal and treasurer Dilip Golcha have been elected unopposed. 

One post of President, one of General Secretary, four post of vice president, four of secretary and one post of treasurer makes up the team of office bearers.

The most interesting battle will be for the post of general secretary where Bharat Vasani (Team Bhalotia) and Shrawan Kabra (Team Vision) will be up against each other.

For the post of Vice-President (Industry) Nitesh Dhoot will fight against Shrawan Kumar Debuka. For Vice-President (Trade and Commerce) will see Suresh Kumar Sharma alias Lipu and Vijay Anand Moonka fight it out. For Vice -President (Tax and Finance)  Dinesh Choudhary will take on Pavan Kumar Agarwal.

Manav Kedia and Mukesh Mittal will clash for the post of Vice-President (Public Relation). 

Mahesh Sonthalia will be up against Vinod Sharma for the post of Secretary (Industry). Along with this 55 members will be in fray for the post of 30 working committee members. 

The polls will take place at Chamber Bhavan in Bistupur from 10.30am to 4 pm on Tuesday. Results will be declared on the same day. CDSL representative will be present at the venue with their laptops for smooth e-voting.
