Silk Fab: Exhibition-cum-sale of silk handloom starts at Tulsi Bhawan

Jamshedpur: Silk Fab, an exhibition cum sale of exquisite silk handloom fabrics was inaugurated at Tulsi Bhawan, Bistupur, on Wednesday. It has been organized by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India in collaboration with National Handloom Development Corporation limited, a Government of India undertaking.

The organizers said the very purpose behind organizing the event is to promote silk handloom sector in the state and provide a proper platform to silk handloom fabrics. They said there was a big market for silk products and the people wanted to purchase them from a variety of options available to them at such exhibitions.

The exhibition will continue till 26th September. It will be open on all days including Sundays from 11 am to 8 pm. The various silk products available at the exhibition include silk sarees, furnishings, salwar suits, dress materials, dupattas and stoles.
