Jamshedpur, Sep 13: All India Sikh Students Federation celebrated its 77th Foundation Day on Monday at Sakchi Gurdwara Sahib. The function was dedicated for the welfare of the farmers fighting for their rights. On the occasion, prayers were offered in front of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib for this purpose and tribute was paid to the farmers who were martyred during the movement to get the three agricultural laws repealed.
Central Secretary of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Aastik Mahto, who arrived as the chief guest, said that he is concerned about the plight of the farmers’ fighting for their rights. He will lend his support for the cause. During this, the Federation’s Eastern India President Satnam Singh Gambhir said that the federation will continue to support the farmers’ movement. Gambhir said that even a commission set up to investigate the 1984 riots was not working properly Mahto promised to get justice for the victims’ families at the earliest.
On the occasion, Parvinder Bhatia, Harjit Singh, Avtar Singh, Parvinder Singh, Avinash Singh, Davinder Singh, Amarjit Singh Bhamra, Sarabjit Singh, Inder Singh Inder, Gurvinder Singh Sidhu, Mohinderpal Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Gurdeep Singh Kaka, Paramjit Singh Kale, Balkar Singh, Hardayal Singh were honored. Amarjit Singh Bhamra and Paramjit Singh Kale conducted the stage and the vote of thanks was given by Inder Singh Inder.
