Sikh community stood alongside people during Covid crisis: CM

Ranchi, November 8: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren praised the Sikh community for standing with the people during global Covid pandemic.

Hemant Soren who had reached Guru Nanak School located at PP Compound in Ranchi on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti also participated in the “553rd Prakash Utsav” program organized on the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the people of the state.

“Today is a historic and holy day. This day is also auspicious as it observed as Guru Purnima. I too have got a chance to pay obeisance at the establishment site of Guru Granth Sahib in this complex today. I have come here many times on this occasion. The Sikh community has stood firmly along with the poor and needy people during the global Covid pandemic,” said Soren.

“They are known for sacrifice and helping society during crisis circumstances. People always get their support. The state government has always stood with the Sikh community, “ said Soren.

 The Chief Minister said, “I bow on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti today and  extend warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the 553rd Prakash Parv.”

On the occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated the PCC road connecting Guru Nanak School to Kadru Road.

Gurdwara Guru Singh Sabha president Gurmeet Singh, secretary Gagandeep Singh Sethi, Jyoti Singh Matharu and others were present at the function.
