Sikandar Ka Muqaddar: A new OTT addition

The movie “Sikandar Ka Muqaddar” is an exciting addition to the OTT film arena. This review aims to analyze the movie based on the plot, character development, direction, and overall effect it leaves upon the audience.

It revolves around Sikandar, who faces lots of challenges in life.  The story holds the audience’s attention from the beginning, depicting Sikandar’s struggles and aspirations. It represents his determination to face challenges and achieve his dreams.  However, at times, the storyline is too predictable, with some twists and turns that do not surprise the viewers.  This predictability may leave some audiences wanting more excitement and depth in the plot.

Character development is integral to any movie, and ” Sikandar Ka Muqaddar ” tries to develop good characters.

Sikandar,  played by a great actor, makes the character relatable to the audience.  The emotions portrayed by the actor are well felt; thus, Sikandar is a character for whom audiences can root. Some supporting characters are underdeveloped and lack depth, which may prevent audiences from fully connecting with their stories.  A richer backstory could have enhanced the film’s emotional impact.

The film’s direction is excellent, and the clear vision justifies Sikandar’s journey.  The cinematography has been very effective in capturing the essence of the locations and adding to the film’s atmosphere. Some scenes were rushed, making the viewer disconnected from the story.  Some scenes needed to be slowed down for more significant emotional engagements.

The music of ” Sikandar Ka Muqaddar” plays a significant role in setting the film’s tone.  The soundtrack has a mix of light and somber tracks that support the narrative.  However, some songs seem misplaced and do not integrate well with the scenes, momentarily distracting the audience from the story.

This movie generally includes the commoner’s traits like aspiration, struggle to achieve, and hopes that do not leave us.  While it has a strong foothold with a relatable protagonist and visually appealing direction, it has failed to fall in certain areas.  The predictability of the plot and the lack of depth in supporting characters might affect the film’s potential.  Nonetheless, it is a watchable film for a story-loving audience, who will surely enjoy it.
The movie would have been more intense if it had removed some plot holes in the story-telling journey.
