Signature campaign on female foeticide

Jamshedpur: Marwari Yuva Manch Steel City branch organized a signature campaign as a part of an awareness drive on female foeticide on Thursday.

The campaign was organized at Sakchi roundabout. The branch president Ajay Chetani and programme convenor Harsh Agrawal said the purpose of the programme was to create awareness among the people on the necessity to stop female foeticide and save the girl child.

They said saving girls was important for the society. The branch secretary Tara Kishore Agrawal said the campaign was a part of the national awareness campaign on female foeticide launched by Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Yuva Manch. More than 100 people participated in the campaign.

Among those present on the occasion included Mukesh Agrawal, Lakhan Moonka, Ashish Rajuka and Naveen Kauntia.
