Jamshedpur: The sixth Shyam Mahotsava will be celebrated in a grand manner in the city under the aegis of Sri Shyam Bhakta Mandal, Parsudih.
It will be celebrated at Surendranath Bhavan near auto-rickshaw stand at Main Road, Parsudih, on 7th August. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Parsudih unit of the organization held on Friday.
The meeting was held at the residence of Ratan Agrawal, the outfit president. It was decided to organize a grand durbar of Lord Shyam, akhand jyot and chhappan bhog programme.
Vijay Agrawal, presiding over the meeting, said popular bhajan singer of Kolkata Kumari Baby Ankita will be performing during the programe.
Prem Agrawal and Harjeet Singh Hira will also present bhajans during the programme. The durbar of Lord Shyam will be decorated with flowers.
The main attraction of the programme will be akhand jyot and chhappan bhog. Those present during the meeting included Ratan, Vijay, Manoj, Sanjay, Akhilesh, Rajesh, Naveen, Anurag, Bablu and Gattu.
