Shri Vidya Parivar Marks Makar Sankranti with Blanket Distribution Drive at Domuhani Ghat

Jamshedpur: On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, Shri Vidya Parivar organised a blanket distribution programme at Domuhani Ghat, reaffirming its belief that service to humanity is service to God.

In view of the prevailing cold wave, the organisation distributed blankets to the needy and underprivileged to provide relief during the harsh winter conditions. Members of Shri Vidya Parivar said the initiative reflected their commitment to social welfare and community service.

New Year Welcomed with Service

Welcoming the New Year 2026 with a spirit of compassion rather than celebration, the organisation focused on extending support to vulnerable sections of society. High-quality blankets were distributed to ensure warmth and comfort for those living in difficult conditions. Office bearers noted that such welfare activities form an integral part of the organisation’s long-standing social initiatives in the city and nearby rural areas.

Programme Led by Office Bearers

The programme was conducted under the leadership of Vice President Asma Purti. Social activists and office bearers, including Akhilesh Kumar Thakur, Prabhu Dayal Munda, Kapoor Swarnakar and Manoj Ji, were present and personally distributed blankets among beneficiaries.
