Shri Rani Sati Dadi Sindhara Jhoola Utsav celebrated in Jugsalai Mandir

Jamshedpur, July 31: The traditional Rajasthani festival of Shri Rani Sati Dadi Sindhara Teej and Jhoola Utsav was celebrated with great religious fanfare on the occasion of the auspicious Hariyali Amavasya at Jugsalai Shri Rani Sati Dadi Mandir along Jugsalai Girls’ School Road. The host for 22nd Sindhara Jhoola Utsav was Sudha and Anil Kumar Agarwal couple who offered prayers to Lord Ganesh and Shri Rani Sati Dadi.

Temple priest Bimal Pandey conducted the puja. Mangal Path was collectively recited by 108 women dressed in traditional Rajasthani wear. Ganesh Vandana was presented by renowned Jamshedpur Bhajan singers, Sunita and Govind Bharadwaj and their team of artists. Bhajans were also rendered by Baijnath Sharma, Sudhir Sharma, Jagdish Sharma and Aditi Bharadwaj. Devotees were so entranced by the Bhajans rendered by the artistes that they started dancing and singing along in religious ecstasy.

The main attractions during Shri Rani Sati Dadi Sindhara Teej celebrations were Dadi Ji’s Jhoola, Chunari, Mehendi and Gajra Utsav. Rani Sati Dadi’s flower adornment by Kolkata experts was a major attraction during the festival.

The organizing committee included Chairman Anil Agarwal, Kamal Agarwal, Rajesh Agarwal, Manish Kedia, Dilip Ringasia, Rajesh Kasera, Deepak Goyal and others.
