Show deposit and loan amount figures separately: Amit Khare tells DCs

Ranchi, Jan. 20: Jharkhand principal secretary (finance) Amit Khare said on Wednesday that the figures of deposits and loan amount should be shown separately so that comparative reviews can be made. He said this while reviewing the loan ratio of 2015 in the State Level Bankersí Committee.

During the review, Khare said that the CD ratio in Gumla, Chatra, Deoghar, Simdega and West Singhbhoom is less than 30%. The DCs of these districts have been directed to make a Monitorable Action Plan within a week.

At the same time, they have been directed to promote allied activities like animal husbandry, goat rearing, piggery, fisheries and poultry in their respective regions. To ensure this, the DDM of NABARD, LDM and concerned departments should contact the officers of Rural Development Department, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department. Khare directed the GM, District Industry Center also to accelerate MSME and MUDRA Yojana.

Referring to the video conferencing to be conducted on 29th January with the DCs of concerned districts, the PS said that all the LDMs will be directed to ensure BLBC. In the meeting, the GM of RBI, NABARD and State Level Bankers Committee, all DDMs, LDMs, GMs of district industry center, concerned department, officers of Rural Development Department, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department and other concerned departments will be present. He said that the motto of State Level Bankers Committee is to prepare action points for 2016-17.

Khare suggested making necessary proposals for promotion of Export in the state so that it could be sent to Government of India for implementation. He said that the next State Level Bankers Committee will meet on 10th February, 2016 in which secretaries and directors of all the departments of the state will participate. Coordinator of State Level Bankers Committee N.K. Gupta said that the present CD Ratio is 61%, which is more than national ratio 60%.

GM of State Level Bankers Committee M. K. Gupta, GM NABARD S. Mandal, Additional GM, RBI Amit Sinha, B.K. Das of NABARD and Chief Manager of State Level Bankers Committee Anjan Moitra and other bank officials were present on this occasion.
