Jamshedpur, Nov. 21: SHORTS, the annual short film festival of Jamshedpur is back this weekend to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The Society for Promotion of Professional Excellence (SPPE) Jamshedpur and Take 5 Communications, Kolkata had collaborated in 2008 to bring to the steel city, the first ever short film festival, SHORTS 2008. Thanks to the overwhelming response from film buffs in Jamshedpur, the festival became an annual event thereon providing a platform for budding film makers especially from Jharkhand.
Over the years, the festival has screened short films with meaningful content made by professional, budding and student film makers from India and abroad. The decade long journey of SHORTS has thus been quite a fruitful one.
