Shobha Yatra marks day 1 of Srimad Bhagwat Katha

Jamshedpur: Seven-day Shrimad Bhagvat Katha Saptah GyanYagya organised on the occasion of New Year began with Kalash (Shobha) Yatra and Vyas Pujan at Vasundhra Estate on NH-33 from Tuesday, December 25.

The religious programme began in presence of Vraj Nandan Shastri Ji Maharaj from Vrindavan (Srikrishna Prem Ras Avatar).

At the religious programme, Vraj Nandan Shastri through Bhagwat Katha said that yatra of good deeds is called shobhayatra. Today every person writes and speaks Shubh-Labh but doesn�t follow it in practical life.

He further said, people today are becoming turbulent in today�s modern world but bhagwat katha helps in overcoming all issues.

After the rituals, Shobhayatra started from Vasundhra Estate and reached Radha-Krishna Mandir on NH-33 before culminating at the Vasundhra Estate. The event is being hosted by Kiran-Uma Shankar Sharma and their son Krishna alias Kali Sharma. Several tableaux were part of the Kalash Yatra.

On the very front was a tableaux of Radha-krishna decorated with flowers which attracted a large crowd. Devotees including women in large number participated in the Shobha yatra. Informing about the programme, Krishna alias Kali Sharma said the religious programme will continue till January 1. A Bhandara will be held on the concluding day of the programme.

Vraj Nandan Shastri Ji Maharaj from Vrindavan will present Bhagwat Katha which is considered as an ultimate remedy to overcome miseries, daily at 3 pm till January 1.
