Shobha Yatra marks Bhagwat Katha at Satyanarayan Mandir

Jamshedpur, August 28: The concluding day of the week long Srimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya saw Himanshu Maharaj from Mathura narrate the friendship story of Krishna and Sudama.

The religious festival was held on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami at Satyanarayan Marwari Mandir in Bistupur on Sunday. Himanshu Maharaj made the devotees aware of religion, truth and kaliyuga.

He said were there is true friendship there is no place for self interest and in the kaliyuga only Lords name can keep us away from the sin. Lord had done 16,108 marriages and each of his queen had 10 sons. In today’s kaliyuga friends cheat their own friends and instead of it they should learn from Krishna and Sudama that what is the importance of friendship.

On Sunday evening, Shobha yatra was taken out with pomp from Satyanarayan Marwari Mandir which traversed through Bistupur main road before culminating at mandir premises. During the Shobha yatra devotees worshipped bhagwat at various places.

After the havan, Prasad was distributed among the devotees were more than 700 people were present.

To make the week-long religious event successful Omprakash Moonka, Umesh Sanghi, Omprakash Gupta and Ravi Bhautika.

On the occasion mandir committee president Subhash Moonka, secretary Suresh Agiwal, Ashok Kumar Naredi, Mahaveer Nagelia, Kunjbihari Nagelia, Santosh Sanghi, Hari Sonthalia, Babulal Sonthalia, Satyanarayan Naredi, Omprakash Sanghi and others provided their full support.
