Shiksha Niketan School students stage street play on road safety

Jamshedpur, Jan 30: Students of the Dramatic Club of Shiksha Niketan School, Telco, performed a street play at a busy city intersection to spread awareness about road safety and traffic rules. The programme aimed to educate the public on careless habits that often lead to serious accidents.

Through their performance, the students highlighted the dangers of using mobile phones while driving, taking risky selfies on high mountains and sharp curves, and driving under the influence of alcohol. These scenes were presented with strong messages to show how such actions can put many lives at risk.

The students also encouraged people to wear helmets and seat belts, raising slogans like “Road Safety, Life Safety.” Many passersby stopped to watch and appreciated their efforts.

School principal Sumita Dey said such activities help shape students into responsible citizens and create awareness about safety in society.
