Shiksha Niketan School hosts 1st Inter-School Tennikoit Championship

Jamshedpur: The 1st Inter-School Tennikoit Championship was organized on March 14, 2026, at Shiksha Niketan School in Telco under the guidance of the Jharkhand Tennikoit Association.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Birdhan Marandi, an international athlete and Area Officer at Tata Steel. Other distinguished guests included Professor Aslam Malik (Coordinator, Jharkhand Tennikoit Association), Ali Raza Khan (Joint Secretary), social worker Rajesh Mishra, School Management Committee President Jyotirmay Das, Vice President Prakash Kumar Sinha and School Principal Sumita Dey.

The Principal welcomed the guests, teachers and students and expressed gratitude for their presence.

In his address, Chief Guest Birdhan Marandi emphasized the importance of sports in building discipline, teamwork and confidence among students, encouraging all participants to pursue athletics along with academics.

A total of 69 students from six different schools participated in the championship.
