Jamshedpur, April 24: Shiksha Niketan crushed Rajendra Vidyalaya by 45 runs to register a comprehensive win in the School league tournament match played at Shaheed Nirmal Mahato Stadium on Thursday.
Batting first Shiksha Niketan scored 143/9 in 20 overs, top scorer for the side was Hemant (53 runs) while M. Mani chipped in with crucial 28 runs.
Piyush Goyal from Rajendra Vidyalaya took 3 wickets. Chasing a modest total of 143 the RV batsman were bundled out for 93 with 3.3 overs to spare.
The top scorer f or RV was Takey Vats who with the help of six boundaries scored 34 runs. Prakash and Ajit were the pick of the bowlers who grabbed 3 wickets each.
