Jamshedpur, July 14: Sheyn International School celebrated Van Mahotsav on Monday, July 14 at the school campus.
The programme kicked off with the morning assembly and was followed by a speech, song and dance by the senior students with a message to keep our earth green by planting more and more trees.
A sapling was presented by the students of Std 1 to the Principal of the school. Principal AB Sinha made the students aware to save the earth by planting one sapling every year.
He also made the students aware about the consequences of cutting down the trees. At the end the students of Pre Nursery to Std 2 took vital step by forming a vegetable garden in the school campus.
The students were told about the importance of vegetables in their life.
