Jamshedpur: Teachers play a significant role in the lives of adolescents. This is the time when teachers can be of great help to them to develop a balanced personality. Sheyn International School always at the fore front looking for opportunities to reinforce existing skills and sharing best practices with educators across the teaching sector hosted a one day capacity building workshop on “Cyber Security and safety” on 30th November, Thursday. The workshop was conducted by eminent resource persons Ms Divya Gardi and Mr Prasenjit Kumar Thakur.

The objective of the Cyber Security and Safety workshop was to empower the participating educators with skills to ensure the integration of Cyber Security Safety and Security elements into the school curriculum and provide accurate information to the students about the process of handling digital information.
The programme started with the rendition of the Ganesh Vandana followed by the memento presentation ceremony to the resource persons by Mrs Pushpa Bhalla , Principal(administration), Sheyn International School. Mrs Pushpa Bhalla in her welcome address introduced the resource persons and wished all the delegates a happy learning experience during the training programme.
The resource persons with all their eloquence brought to the forefront the need to equip the young generation to be sensitive to the diversity of digital experience they would be encountering in their lives. The resource persons reinforced their concepts through role plays thus generating great enthusiasm among the participating delegates.
