Jamshedpur, April 22: Sheyn International School in Mango observed Earth Day with an array of educational and extracurricular activities, reinforcing the students’ role in environmental stewardship. The day was dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of preserving and protecting the planet.

Students engaged in various activities aimed at highlighting the significance of environmental conservation. They created posters with impactful slogans, penned essays, delivered speeches, and contributed saplings for planting within the school campus. The focal point of the celebration was a tree plantation ceremony, accompanied by oath-taking to safeguard the environment.

Pushpa Bhalla, Principal (Administration), commended the students for their enthusiasm and encouraged them to actively participate in initiatives aimed at combating environmental degradation. Rama Srinivas, Principal (Academics), urged students to protect the diverse flora, fauna, soil, and water resources from detrimental human activities and rapid urbanization.

Keya Adak, Vice Principal, and Simran Saggu, Headmistress, emphasized the importance of spreading awareness about environmental protection and addressing the global climate crisis. Students across all levels showcased remarkable dedication and pride in contributing to the safety, greenery, and beauty of of Planet Earth.

The Earth Day celebration at Sheyn International School projected the institution’s commitment to instilling environmental consciousness and fostering a sense of responsibility towards Mother Earth among its students.
