Administrative reshuffle in East Singhbhum: Six officers transferred

Jamshedpur, Sep 21: In a significant administrative reshuffle, six officers in East Singhbhum district have been transferred. The changes involve three Additional District Magistrates (ADMs), one Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), one welfare officer, and one executive magistrate. Mahendra Kumar, who previously held the position of SOR cum ADM Law and Order, has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Agriculture Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department.
Ajay Kumar Sao, the Director and in-charge ADC of the National Education Policy (NEP), has been reassigned as Secretary of the Transport Authority of Kolhan. Ranjit Lohra, the Additional Commissioner of Mango Municipal Corporation, will now serve as Deputy Secretary in the Health Department.
Notably, Shatabdi Majumdar, the former ITDA Project Director, will take over from Dhalbhum SDM Parul Singh. Majumdar, who is currently Under Secretary in the Finance Department, is also an IAS officer, bringing the total number of IAS officers in the district to five.
Sumit Prakash, an executive magistrate for an extended period, has been transferred to the Rural Development Department. Additionally, District Welfare Officer Rajendra Prasad Gupta will be succeeded by Shankaracharya Samad, the DTO from Seraikela. The vacant position of ADM Law and Order will be filled by IAS officer Aniket Sachan, who is currently serving as the SDM in Khunti.
