Jamshedpur, Oct 13: Kalash of Sharad Navratri Mahotsav was established at Andhra Bhakt Ram Mandiram in Bistupur amidst chanting of Vedic hymns and mantras.
Vedic Priests from Vishakhapatnam C.H Subramaniam Swami, Talideshwar Bhaskar Sharma, Gopal Sharma, M Satyanarayan Sharma, M Brahmanandan along with local priest Uma Maheshwar Sharma, A. Venkat Shastri and Ram Shastri Ganpathi performed special prayers of Shivganpati.
The day started with the worshipping of the cow at 7.30 am followed by Ganesh Vandana and Ganesh Homam and prayers for Kalash established was held. Later Panchamritabhishekam of Goddess was done followed by Kumari Puja were a girl was worshipped.
In the evening Chandi Yagya was held were mass Kumkumarchana, Subasini Puja while bhog (Prasad) was distributed among the devotees.
It may be noted that Sharad Navratri puja which commenced on October 13 will continue till October 22. Along with this a 30 feet long pandal has been erected inside the mandir premises specially for Sharad Navratri.
On the occasion President of Andhra Bhakta Rama Mandir C.H Shankar Rao, P.V.R. K Rao Dy. Vice-President of, Vice-President B.V Appa Rao, K ishwar Rao, General Secretary N Narsingh Rao, Joint Secretary R.K. Murthy, D Bhaskar Rao, M Chandrasekhar Rao, Treasurer Y.A Ramarao, Joint Treasurer I Srinivas and hundreds of devotees were present.
