Jamshedpur: BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit is all set to organize Shakti Kendra Sammelan, a conference of booth level party workers, at Agrico Transport ground on 11th February. The event will begin at 11 am.
District BJP president Dinesh Kumar said the upcoming programme was going to be historic for the entire Kolhan region. He was addressing a press meet at the programme venue. He said Jamshedpur and Singhbhum Lok Sabha constituencies have been clubbed as one cluster in view of upcoming Lok sabha elections. All Shakti Kendra activists and booth level workers of the two constituencies are expected to attend the conference, he said.
Kumar said many senior party leaders will be attending the event. The leaders will include Chief Minister Raghubar Das BJP national general secretary Arun Singh, state BJP president Laxman Gilua, Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, former CM Arjun Munda, state minister Saryu Roy, Sameer Oraon, Deepak Prakash, Menka Sardar and Laxman Tudu. Around 12,000 party workers are expected to attend the programme. Six large LED screens and a pandal have been installed at the programme venue, said the district BJP president.
