Jamshedpur: The Tatanagar unit of Shri Shakambhari Mata Pariwar (SMP) organized a Holi Milan gathering at a city hotel on Saturday. Women including the youth members smeared Abeer on each other to mark the occasion. They also sand Holi related songs.
�Holi Ke Rang Lagao,� a competitive event was won by Shivani Moonka and Uma Chetani. Meera Chetani, Savita Sonthalia, Rakhi Sharma, Suman Chowdhary and Nitu Harnathka were winners in the housie draw.
Speaking on the occasion, SMP president Nitu Harnathka stated, �I urge all my sisters here on this auspicious occasion of Holi celebrations to come closer and create an atmosphere of love and cooperation amongst us.� She also urged members to exercise their franchise in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. There was a spread of traditional cuisine that was enjoyed by the members.
