Jamshedpur: Acting on a confidential tip-off received by the Senior Superintendent of Police on February 18, a specially constituted police team carried out a swift and strategic operation under the jurisdiction of Golmuri Police Station.
During the raid at a house located in Sabina Colony, the team apprehended seven individuals who were allegedly conspiring to execute a major criminal act.
The timely intervention by the police averted a potentially serious incident in the city.
From the possession of the accused, the police recovered one pistol, seven live cartridges, a Scorpio vehicle, and other incriminating materials.
All seven accused have been arrested and subsequently remanded to judicial custody. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the motive and possible links to other criminal activities.
