Jamshedpur: In a humanitarian gesture amid the intense summer heat, members of Seva Sanstha organized a service initiative near the Birsanagar Sunday Market on Sunday, where cold sweet sherbet and chana prasad were distributed among passersby and local residents.
The initiative was aimed at providing relief to people struggling with the scorching temperatures currently prevailing across the city.
Market-Goers and Rickshaw Pullers Benefit
During the programme, a large number of market visitors, rickshaw pullers, pedestrians, and daily commuters stopped to partake of the sherbet and roasted gram prasad distributed by the volunteers.
Many people appreciated the efforts of the organization and praised the members for carrying out such a thoughtful social service activity during the ongoing heatwave conditions.
Members Participate Enthusiastically
Several members of Seva Sanstha actively participated in the programme and personally distributed the refreshments among the public.
Those present on the occasion included Sunil Kumar, Apoorva Prasad, Arushi, Anshuman Singh, Dolly Singh, Hari Pandey, Neelam Pandey, Arvind Kumar, Dilip Sahu, Vijay Jha, and Bablu Chaubey.
