Jamshedpur, June 26 : Srinath University hosted a session on the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking for students of the Commerce and Management Department. The event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and emphasize the importance of promoting mental health.
The session was led by Mokshita Gautam, a distinguished YI member, speaker, and counselor specializing in mental health and negativity of drug abuse. With a decade of experience in the Art of Living, Gautam provided keen insights and practical guidance on tackling drug abuse and nurturing mental well-being among students.
Coordinated by Umang Modi, Yi Jamshedpur Health Chair, the session offered students the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and learn effective strategies to combat drug misuse. The interactive nature of the event ensured that all participants gained valuable knowledge and resources to help themselves and others.
Prof. Dr. S. N. Singh, Vice Chancellor of Srinath University, concluded the session with heartfelt gratitude, stating, “We are immensely grateful to Mrs. Mokshita Gautam for her expertise and dedication, and to Mr. Umang Modi and the Yi Jamshedpur team for their seamless coordination.
