Jamshedpur, June 21: JUSCO School South Park observed 11th International Yoga Day 2025 with great zeal and a deep sense of purpose. In alignment with the global theme of “Yoga for one Earth, One Health”, the school campus resonated with positive energy as students and teachers came together to celebrate the ancient practice that promotes harmony between mind, body and soul.
The week long celebrations day began with a Yoga Seminar-cum-Workshop, conducted by Archana Gautam, Yoga expert from Art of Living, Mala Mandhyan, yoga practitioner, KMPM Vocational College, Sunil Sinha, PGT Physical Education, Inder & Abhishek Kumar , yoga practitioners from Royal Yoga. The interactive session included demonstrations of breathing techniques, asanas and guided meditation, leaving the participants both informed and inspired.
Students enthusiastically took part in activities across the school.
Class I-III participated in guided yoga asanas by the yoga instructor Ms Bindu Prasad.
Class IV & V students took part in Essay writing activity expressing their thoughts on the benefits of yoga in everyday life.
Classes VI -VIII students showcased their creativity in Poster Making Competition on the theme,”Yoga for one Earth,One Health “.
Classes IX & X participated in Slogan writing competition, where they penned thought provoking messages promoting yoga asanas a tool for personal & social -being.
In addition to this the teachers & school support staff enthusiastically performed yoga asanas and pranayama techniques.
The school Principal Mili Sinha in her address to the students and teachers reiterated the importance of integrating yoga into daily routine for a balanced and stress free life.
