Series of events mark youth festival at RVS Academy

Jamshedpur, Aug. 30: RVS Academy Campus reverberated with loads of fun- filled activities as the school hosted the intra house Youth Festival �Youngistan�. The two day fest began on 30^th August, 2019.

The School Chairman Binda Singh, Secretary Bharat Singh, Members of Executive Committee Shatrughana Singh and Shakti Singh, Principal Mitali Roy Choudhury, Vice Principal Veesha Mohindra lit the ceremonial lamp.

Judges for the occasion were Dr. Shalini Kumari, Professor Poloumi Ganguly, Professor Smita Dash and Professor Amanath Dutta.

The theme of the day was Preserve Nature.

The event commenced with cultural programmes followed by an array of On-Stage events namely Solo Song, Choral Recitation, Nukkad Natak and Group Dance. The Off-Stage events included Rangoli Making, Painting, Flower Decoration and Mask Making.

The events encapsulated the talent of students who showcased their skills, acumen and aptitude. The four Houses � Rose House, Violet House, Sunflower House and Aster House vied with each other to lift the Championship trophy.

The scintillating performances by the students not only gave an opportunity to showcase their talent in diverse fields but also whetted their competitive skills.

The Principal congratulated the teachers and students for putting up a wonderful programme. �More than winning or losing the spirit in which competitions are conducted deserves acclamation�, said the Chairman, Binda Singh.

The day ended with the National Anthem sung by the school choir.
