Series of events mark Women’s Day at Tata Motors Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, March 8: Tata Motors Jamshedpur organised a comprehensive day-long event in celebration of International Women’s Day on Friday. The occasion witnessed the active participation of 750 women colleagues from TTL, TMLBSL, and TASL, marking a vibrant and empowering gathering.

In a jubilant atmosphere in the plant, employees, accompanied by their spouses, joined hands with educators from Tata Motors aided schools to support and engage in various contests, including essay writing, extempore, and Master Chef Competition. The festivities unfolded at the Management Training Centre, where a total of 90 participants enthusiastically took part in these events.

Further, the women employees participated in ‘the Rangoli contest’ on the theme of “Diverse and Inclusive Workplace”. A fun-filled event, the fashion show “Couples of India” saw the enthusiastic participation of various employees. The audience was highly entertained by the innovative thoughts and costumes of the participants.

A special lunch was served at the canteen, where a special menu was created keeping both the celebration and Mahashivratri under consideration. To continue with the celebration of International Women’s Day, further events like a ‘Health Talk’ and a ‘Musical Nite’ showcasing internal talents in music will follow.
