Series of events mark intra youth fest at KPS Kadma

Jamshedpur, Dec. 8: The Annual Youth Festival was celebrated with much pomp, show and enthusiasm in Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma on Saturday.

Shanta Vaidyanathan, Assistant Director, Kerala Public Schools, the guest of honour graced the occasion and he along with Director, Principal, Academic Director and Headmistress of KPS lit the inaugural, devotional lamp.

In keeping with the need of the hour, the theme was ‘VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM – ONE TRIBE ONE WORLD’.

The event commenced with a prayer song and this was followed by a welcome song by the KPS students. The KPS Kadma�s extravaganza included a number of on-stage events, like Group dance, Group songs both Eastern and Western, Quiz, Extempore, Ice age and Thaw, Skits, Tableau.

There were off stage events like Collage, Rangoli, Hair styling, Web designing, Origami, Elocution – literally there was one for everyone!

More than forty events encapsulated the talent of our students, who were eagerly waiting to showcase their skills, aptitude and acumen.

Students, as always, participated in various events round the year, and this culminated in the Annual Youth Festival.

More than 500 students bagged prizes for their scintillating performance which not only brought out their latent talent but also honed their competitive skills.
The four houses Prosperity, Peace, Valour and Wisdom vied with each other to lift the Championship trophy.

The Overall Champion Trophy was bagged by Prosperity House and the Runners up Team was Valour House.

The Vote of Thanks was given by the Headmistress – K.Jaishree.

The teachers and students worked round the clock with tireless zeal to make this programme a grand success. The Principal applauded the efforts of teachers & students.
