Jamshedpur, Sept. 14: Indias national language Hindi is the worlds third largest spoken language. Hindi Divas is celebrated on 14 September because on this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India had adopted Hindi written in Devanagari script as the official language of the Republic of India. From that day onwards till now this day is celebrated as Hindi Diwas across India by all. To commemorate this day Sheyn International School organized Hindi Diwas Pakhwada. On this occasion, the school assembly was conducted fully in Hindi. The Hindi department conducted speech competition, Nukkad Natak competition, story narration etc in Hindi to showcase the epitomic importance of our mother tongue in the cultural progress of the nation. Hindi unites the whole country and plays a crucial role in our cultural heritage. The principal Satadru Roy and vice-principal Pushpa Bhalla told the students to respect and regard this rich language and hone their skills in the national language.
