Seraikela: The police on Wednesday arrested three persons, including two shooters in the murder of Rajmohan Mahto at Chowka in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Sunday.�Rajmohan Mahto (35) was a labour supplier at the Narsing Steel Company on Chowka-Kandra Road near Jamshedpur was shot at by two unidentified bike-borne criminals in Chowka.� The victim was rushed to Tata Main Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
On Tuesday, the police had arrested two persons, Bideshi Mahto and Sanjay Mahto, and after grilling them and based on the inputs provided the police managed to identify shooters, Raman Pratap Bagti and Ajay Das, besiding arresting yet another person Bhuban Tanti for supplying the fire-arms.
Seraikela-Kharsawan SP, Mohammed Arshi said during the investigation they found that Rajmohan Mohan Mahto and Bideshi Mahyo were partners in a labour supply firm engaged in Narsingh Ispat. A few days ago, Bideshi and Rajmohan had a dispute over money transactions, leading the former to decide to eliminate the latter. It was then only, Bideshi had conspired the murder of Rajmohan by contacting his cousin brother Sanjay Mahto,” said Arshi.
The SP said for getting their plan of Rajmohan’s murder, Bideshi an Sanjay had contacted a criminal Bhuban Tanti, who is also a resident of Chowka. After they set the deal to eliminate him, Tanti had arranged two contract killers by going over to Arki in Tamar. The shooters finally shot the person and killed him.
