The police are continuously raiding against illegal liquor manufacture and sale, drugs and cannabis. In the same sequence, on Friday, the Seraikela-Kharsawan police has been successful. Large quantities of drugs have been recovered from Chandil, Ichagarh and Adityapur police stations in the district in the same sequence. Some people have also been arrested in the case. Police is questioning the arrested people. In this regard, Saraikela SP Mo Arshi said that the police are constantly taking action to stop illegal liquor, cannabis and drugs.On the basis of the secret information received, the police today raided various police station areas of Seraikela-Kharsanwa district and recovered brown sugar, liquor and ganja. SP said that on the basis of secret information, the police recovered huge amount from Chandil. Alcohol is recovered. Alcohol was loaded into a truck. The price of which is being said in millions.
Similarly, a large amount of brown sugar has been seized from Adityapur police station area. And a huge quantity of hemp has been recovered from Ichagarh. The district police along with Chandil Sub-Divisional Police team seized around one truck of liquor. The truck escaped and the accused fled. SP Mohammad Arshi said that 2434 bottles of illegal English liquor from Khokrodih under Chandil Police Station, Ichagarh illegally destroyed cannabis cultivation.Also Abdul Karim was detained along with 64 pudding brown sugar from Adityapur Muslim colony. While speaking about the arrest of Lal Singh Munda, who is cultivating Ganja, he also said. Apart from this, he said that about two thousand kilograms of mahua java were destroyed and 45 liters of mahua liquor recovered from Adityapur police station area. At the same time, the SP has made it clear that this campaign will continue till the district is intoxicated.
