Second special summary revision of electoral roll from Sep 2 to 17

Seraikela, Aug 30: Seraikela-Kharsawan district administration has begun preparations for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections following the directive of Election Commission of India. In the first phase, the district administration started a second special summary revision of electoral roll to ensure that maximum number of voters are able to exercise their adult franchise. Deputy Development Commissioner SK Dudhani convened a meeting with the representatives of various political parties at the Seraikela-Kharsawan Collectorate.
Addressing a press meet after the meeting, he said those whose names have not been included in the voters list may get it done from 2nd September to 17th September. Special camps would also be held on 8th September and 15th September (both being Sundays). These camps would be held at all polling booths. The information regarding these special camps may be obtained by calling on the toll free number 1950, he said.
Today�s meeting was attended by Kailash Mahato, Dilip Shankar Acharya, Loknath Mishra and Uday Pratap Singhdeo.
